Hi 👋 My name is Marissa, and I’m a UX Designer and Strategist with a passion for ethical design. I’ve worked at both startups and large companies, designing across the full spectrum of product design. I hold a Masters degree in Integrated Digital Media from the Tandon School of Engineering at NYU, where I focused my thesis on the intersections of user experience, film/immersive media, and systems thinking. I received my undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Film from Dartmouth College. I volunteer my time working with organizations like Hexagon UX, the Design Justice Network, and Center for Artistic Activism.

I tend to do my best work when I can strategically and collaboratively explore systems and how they fit into the world. To me, good design requires understanding the needs, goals, and implications of decisions from various perspectives.
